PARTIAL Wedding PLANNER in DC, VA, MD

This package is perfect for the “type A” couple who truly wants to take on the bulk of wedding planning themselves. You will be responsible for managing vendors, staying on track, and ensuring the vision is executed in vendor contracts, but have us with you throughout the process to consult when needed and coordinate on the day-0f.

01. WEDDING CONSULTING

  • Initial consultation to discuss your vision & priorities

  • Site visit to the venue after you book it

  • Developing a timeline to share with vendors

  • Creating a floor plan to share with vendors

  • Curating a list of vendors for you to inquire with

  • 10 hours of planning support to be used how you need (note that it typically takes about 150 hours to plan a wedding)

02. wedding coordination

This section starts 10 weeks prior to your wedding date.

  • Taking overall vendor management & correspondence

  • Reviewing all vendor contracts

  • Finalizing the timeline and floor plan

  • Leading the final walkthrough at the venue

  • Guidance on the seating chart, music, entrances, and toasts

  • Recommending supplies to order and how to organize them

  • Recommending tip amounts (optional)

  • Planning the processional & recessional

  • Leading the wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding

03. Wedding day

  • Planner and 2 assistants on the wedding day for up to 10 hours

  • Directing vendor set-up & answering all questions

  • Ensuring everyone is following the timeline for the day

  • Attending to the needs of the bride & groom

  • Guiding the flow of the wedding party, family, & guests

  • Styling the rentals, decor, & supplies to match the vision

  • Ensuring the execution of all contracts

  • Dealing with any unforeseen hiccups

  • Overseeing breakdown at the end of the night

  • Packing your car with all gifts & supplies

  • Full Planning & Design is for couples who want to feel completely supported from start to finish. You’ll hand off the logistics, vendor communication, and design execution to a professional, and spend your engagement focused on what matters most: celebrating this season together, stress-free.

    Partial Planning is designed for the rare couple who has significant time to dedicate, loves being very hands-on, and feels confident managing most of the planning themselves. You’ll take the lead on vendor research, communication, and decision-making, while I step in at key milestones to guide you and ensure everything runs smoothly on the wedding day.

  • The most expensive cost is the catering. The term “catering” in the wedding world means the company that is providing food, alcohol, bartenders, servers, rentals, and sometimes even dessert! In the DC area, the average cost for a reputable caterer starts at about $250/per person for everything listed above and can increase based on service style, alcohol preferences, rental selections, and more.

  • Fill out our inquiry form for us to review and we will schedule a time for a 1-hour complimentary consultation if we have availability for your date! If both parties feel that the consultation went well, a contract and invoice will be sent within 48 hours to be signed and paid. Then the planning fun begins!
